The Hawaii Psychology Internship Consortium

MISSION : The Hawaii Psychology Internship Consortium’s (HI-PIC) mission is to prepare and retain psychologists to provide culturally competent public mental health care for the diverse children, adolescents, and adults of Hawaii.

GENERAL INFORMATION : The Hawaii Psychology Internship Consortium (HI-PIC) represents the collaborative effort of three Hawaiian state agencies to share resources and faculty for the purpose of providing a diversified educational program for psychology doctoral interns. Please note that HI-PIC is a psychology doctoral internship program and not a practicum training site.

Applications for the 2018 - 2019 internship year are due by November 3, 2017. Applicants will be notified regarding their interview status by December 9, 2017. Please see the "Application Procedure" page for detailed information.

Application Procedure

The Consortium currently offers 9 full-time positions. Applicants may apply to as many sites within the consortium as they wish. Each consortium site will have a unique Match number, so applicants will be able to rank the sites according to their preference.

The 2017-2018 application process will occur through the APPIC match. Please visit www.appic.org for more information about this process.
